सांगला और छितकुल  ( Sangla and chitkul )

             Sangla and chitkul mostly known as Baspa or Sangla Valley  is the most beautiful place to visit .The natural stunning beauty of nature is incredible that why this place is famous world wide. 
  Baspa river which is tributery of Satluj River flow in this valley. Chitkul is the highest and last village in this valley.

 Climate of this valley is freezing in winter generally in Negative temprature. In june tempraute is not more than 20-28 degree . Snow fall begin in the month of the October. If you are looking for snowfall you must visit only after the October.


There are plunty hotel to stay, you must reserve the hotels before you are coming to this place. But if you in off season there is no such need. You can easily get a good hotel in cheap Rates.

          Sangla is diverted place from NH - 22 , from the place Karcham there is link road to Sangla Valley.Distance from karcham to chitkul is about 61 km via single way road.

Kalpa

 Kalpa is historic and beautiful village located in the Himalaya. It is heritage village of the kinnaur district. After the independence till 80s it was the district headquater  and most popular village after that the most of the Govt offices were shifted to the Reckong Peo which is the cureent capital, it was known as Chini at that time. It was the favourite place of Lord Dalhousie in 19th  century. 

Kalpa is situated at height of 2670 m from the sea level. The most Popular KINNER KAILASH mountain is in front to the Kalpa village and the SHIVLING can be sight from the Kalpa and also nearby places. The Shivling changes colour twice or Thice in day according to time or the location of the sun.

Best time to visit kalpa is from April to November. The weather will be not so cold nor hot, you can enjoy the beauty of kalpa , spend time in the country side.

At summer the major crops Apple,chest nut, Almond are available at the village,you can directly purchase from local peoples.

" KINNER KAILASH YATRA " starts in the second or third month of the August by "Kinner Kailash Yatra Committee". With Vishal Bandara in the Kinner kailash mountain Committee also facilitate the accommodations.

Kinner Kailash Yatra provide the facilities like medical and guidance.

Chakha:-  IT is trekking place in kalpa,you can start trekking in morning from kalpa. Chakha is about 4 - 5 Km from kalpa. You have to carry your food while trekking to chakha there is no shops but you will definitely love this place for its beauty and peace.

Sucide point :-  In the midway to village Roghi there is a steep mountain is known as suicide point. The sleep up mountains are the main attraction for the tourist. It is about  3.5 km from kalpa,

About Kinnaur

Kinnaur is beautiful place located in the Himalayas. Kinnaur is situated in south eastern part of Himachal Pradesh. Kinnaur became the sixth district of himachal pradesh departed from the Mahasu district in 1960.

The climate of kinnaur is temperate in summer and semi-arctic and heavy sbow fall  in winterrs

Snow fall normally begins in October and after December the whole valley is covered under snow till march and April.

1 Kalpa(2670m)

     Beauty of kinnaur can be feel and seen at sangla valley.Chitkul  is the last village of kinnaur which lies along the indo tibat border. There is oldest temple of local goddess is in this village which is constructed aournd  500 years ago.

        Nako is  2km from hangrang valley and 105 km from kalpa. Nako is famous for theNako lake and natural beauty.This village is situated on highest altitude in this valley.
