CHITKUL
Sangla and chitkul mostly known as sangla Valley is the most beautiful place to visit in kinnaur.The natural stunning beauty of this place is incredible that why this place is world wide famous and lot of tourists from all over india and other countries visits here.
Baspa river which is tributary of river Satluj also flows in this valley. Chitkul is the very Last village in this valley which is the last village of india after that the China Tibat boundary begins.
Climate is extremely cold in winter and also frigid in summer. Climate in june is fall in vicinity of 15 to 25 degree.
In the midst of the village there is a Buddist temple also temple of
Local Goddess Chandike .Local Goddess temple is famour for two brass made lions monuments in the temple.
